For patient safety, the Compact 525 features an OSD® (Oxygen Sensing Device) sensor for continuous monitoring of oxygen levels. Visual and audible alarms provide alerts for low oxygen levels, power failure, low pressure, and required servicing. The oxygen outlet also incorporates fire protection technology. The concentrator uses Turn-Down Technology as part of its intelligent power management system to reduce power consumption at lower flow rates.
